Payment

For your convenience, payment can be made using various methods, including cash or e-transfers.
I do not typically submit claims to insurance companies directly. A detailed receipt will be provided for each session, allowing you to submit a claim for reimbursement directly to your insurance company. This process helps you utilize your insurance benefits while receiving the support and care you need. Most insurance plans cover my services, and I recommend verifying your coverage with your insurance provider before scheduling your appointment.

Insurance Coverage

Most extended benefits plans insurance cover social workers. Below are some key questions you might want to ask your insurance provider:

  • Amount and Percentage Covered: Inquire about the total amount and percentage covered for psychological services.

  • Specific coverage: Determine if the coverage is just for mental health services or if the amount available is also expected to cover other health services.

  • Types of Services and Professionals Covered: Clarify which types of services and professionals are covered under your plan to ensure you receive the appropriate benefits.

Understanding your insurance coverage can help you make informed decisions about your mental health care. Please note that payment is expected on the day of your appointment, after which you will be provided a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Payment

For any cancellations or rescheduling, I require at least 24 hours' notice. 
Typically, missed sessions or late cancellations will be charged in full.

In case of Emergency

If you feel that you are in immediate danger or need immediate help, please go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital or call 911.
